A special Cell to look into the affairs of Other Backward Class (OBC) students and staff of the University College of Arts is constituted and functioning in the college. The OBC Cell focuses mainly to educate, enlighten and empower the students and staff of OBC categories in the university to make use of the facilities extended by the Govt. and other agencies for their educational & occupational career . The cell also implement, monitor and evaluate continuously the reservation policy in admission process of the University college of Arts and plan measures for ensuring effective implementation of the policy and programmes of the College
Objectives
- Ensure reservation norms in the admission of students and in the appointments of teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Maintain social relationship among the admitted students in the college and resolve issues, grievances, representations etc.,
- Explore redressal mechanisms and provisions for remedial coaching, counseling etc.,
